[food] day 85: larder section

So as I continue to eat/drink my way through the laneways on Little Bourke.

Yesterday I walked into a small simple looking place on Hardware Lane. Black walls, minimal decor, yet welcoming.

The place was called Larder Section. The idea of food grown in your backyard or at least close to it is so appealing. They try to get all their ingredients in Victoria.

I had a gorgeous cappuccino and the Autumn Colors sandwich which was vegetarian. It was pretty hard to eat because of the local chickpeas that were falling out of my sand. But overall it was delicious, moderately priced for farm to the table food.

I think I spent around $14 for the whole shibang.

cheers and happy eatings.
